The DGAFP organized in may 2016 two study visits for high-ranking civil servants from Tunisia

The first delegation (3 civil servants) was organized as a 10 days professionalization stay (11 to 20 may) with 2 days in Paris (global presentation of training stakeholders and organization) and 4 days in the Administration regional institute of Nantes (IRA) in an operational view (professional practices, local training stakeholders networking). La DGAFP a accueilli de hauts cadres tunisiens dans le cadre du projet de renforcement des responsables de formation

Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité, République Française - Ministère de la Fonction PubliqueLa DGAFP a accueilli au mois de mai deux délégations de hauts cadres tunisiens dans le cadre du projet de renforcement des compétences des responsables de formation des ministères
La première délégation de trois fonctionnaires a ainsi bénéficié d’un séjour de professionnalisation de 10 jours (du 11 au 20 mai 2016)  articulé entre une session à Paris pour une présentation des acteurs de formation et du contexte et 4 jours à l'IRA de Nantes pour l'aspect opérationnel axé sur les pratiques professionnelles ainsi qu'un éclairage complémentaire sur l'animation locale d'un réseau d'acteurs de la formation. Arab Euro Conference focuses on strengthening research collaborations across the Mediterranean

The fourth Arab Euro Conference on Higher Education (AECHE) on “Research for sustainable societies – the role of universities” took place at the University Mohammed V in Rabat, Morocco from 24 to 26 April.
Enhancing research collaboration and facilitating research capacity building were among the topical issues that were discussed at the event. Most Arab countries (except for some of the Gulf countries) tend to have generally low public and private investment in research accompanied by a lack of policy support and leadership. At the same time, higher education institutions are facing difficulties, with low funding, excessive pressure to publish and infringements on institutional autonomy and academic freedom, which undermine their ability to contribute to society and hamper research. Launching of Morocco’s participation in the CEPEJ evaluation cycles

On this occasion, the President of the working group on evaluation of judicial systems, Jean-Paul Jean presented the potential benefits for Morocco in using the new tool of CEPEJ-STAT. Managing Security Challenges in the Euro-Mediterranean Area

There has been a considerable rise in terrorism in the region. The migration of Daesh from Iraq and Syria to Libya has further consolidated this trend.
