Latest QS World Rankings show Chinese, Russian, and Arab Region Universities Advancing

These rankings, which date back to 2004 when QS had a partnership with the Times Higher Education Supplement, include six metrics: citations per faculty (20%), faculty student ratio (20%), international faculty (5%), international students (5%), employer survey (10%) and academic survey (40%). US Universities Lead in Patents Ranking

The National Academy of Inventors is an organisation, based in Florida, that includes universities, research institutes and over 3,000 individual members and fellows. Its declared objectives are to “to recognize and encourage inventors with patents issued from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, enhance the visibility of academic technology and innovation, encourage the disclosure of intellectual property, educate and mentor innovative students, and translate the inventions of its members to benefit society.” More...
